Deborah Durbin is a freelance journalist, columnist and bestselling author in both fiction and non-fiction. She has worked for over 20 years in print and digital media. In that time she has written for many national and international newspapers and magazines, including; My Weekly, Bella, Woman, Essentials, Writers' News, The Daily Express, Dell (US), The New York Times, OK!, Fate & Fortune, Sunday Express, It's Fate, Natural Health, Soul & Spirit, Prediction, Spirit & Destiny, The Times, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Mirror, Prediction, Readers Digest, the Guardian, Healthy Magazine, Prima, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Writing Magazine, and many more.
Deborah specialises in health, family, lifestyle, general interest, women's issues, mind, body, spirit features, investigations and print and digital publishing. She is also a columnist for two national magazines and was previously the editor of Enchanted Magazine. She has spent many years working as an investigative journalist and a court reporter and is a qualified proof-reader, copy editor and holds a Private Investigator license.
Deborah has 15 books published by mainstream publishers which have been translated into several languages and is a full member of The Society of Authors, Women in Journalism, Journalism UK and the National Union of Journalists. In addition to this, she has ghost-written books for other people and often teaches journalism skills and freelance writing courses. She is also one of the ghostwriters for The Ghost Writing Company and Story Terrace.
